Taylor Swift does Teen Vogue

This month's Teen Vogue covergirl is country sweetheart Taylor Swift.

In the March 2009 issue Taylor talks about her style, life and how she copes with the paps. A few highlights -

On thinking things happen for a reason:
“I’m the kind of person, who needs to feel like everything happens for a reason. When you date a guy and it goes badly, that’s horrible. But if you can write a song about it, then it was worth it.”

On being popular being easier to meet people:
“It’s weird—I thought I’d have so many more friends, but I feel like I’m less popular than I’ve ever been. It makes me value the people I can trust even more; I still have the same best friend I had all through high school.”

On her glamorous red carpet look:
"I've learned a lot. I go to all these photo shoots, and each time I figure out something new about myself and what I want to wear. For a big night, I like Marchesa or Badgley Mischka—and I love Oscar de la Renta. I've never gotten to wear one of his dresses; if I ever did, I would probably faint. And I am obsessed with high heels."

On being interested in acting
: “Only if it was a show that I loved, like CSI or Grey’s Anatomy, or if it was a really cool script. But I’m not feeling this desperate urge.”

On people taking her picture: "Well, I've never had paparazzi in Nashville before; that's a new thing. You really have a lot of privacy here. I saw that documentary on Britney Spears, and I feel bad for her—she can't leave her house!"

Taylor's Cover Look
- She wears a blue Calvin Klein dress teamed with a ton of necklaces from Badgley Mischka, Made Her Think, Gerard Yosca, Sunday's Best, and Ligia Dias.

Stars at the Elie Saab Haute Couture Show

Stars at the 2009 Elie Saab Haute Couture Fashion Show in Paris, France.

Mischa Barton, who arrived in a stunning one-shouldered dress, had another outfit faux-pas, after wearing a dress a little too low cut at the Dior show just days before, this time Mischa was caught off guard letting the photographers see a little too much.

Dita Von Teese however was ultra elegant as always in a ruffled black ensemble from the Elie Saab 2008 collection.

Next to Mischa for the show was Kanye West, looking dapper in a white tuxedo jacket.

Serena Williams to become the Face of Mission Skincare

She doesn't get to wear much make-up on court but Serena Williams, who just won the Australian Open is set to become the face of athletic beauty brand Mission Skincare.

The tennis player, currently ranked world number one, revealed that a big part of her desicion to join the brand was that, “I’ve always been disappointed with the lack of skincare products that can keep up with the demands athletes place on their skin,” Williams said. “When I learned about Mission and their focus on innovative skincare solutions for everyone with an active lifestyle, I knew I could have an impact on the company.”

The line, which is already endorsed by a number of sports stars including Carmelo Anthony and snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, includes many Sun Protection products and lip balms as well as footcare and other items.
